Ever since I became a father, maternity sessions have held a special spot in my heart.

I felt so honored to capture this session for Helen, and Stephen as they prepare to meet their sweet little baby girl later this year. Their first baby!

I arrived early at their home; earlier than our scheduled time, and started building a relationship with Stephen before Helen arrived.

Helen came ready for the session, and she looked beautiful inside, and outside. This mama knew what she wanted, but was also open to new ideas.

Stephen is a super-supportive husband. He was present both physically and emotionally and did not try to steal the shine from his wife.

Although you’d never know by looking at them, it was freezing outside, and Helen and Stephen were both such troopers in the cold.

Spending time with these two, it’s clear that this little girl is going to be welcomed with so much love, and she will have the most amazing parents in the world.
